April 4th, 2017The air is cool and damp as you listen quietly to the noise of the outside world...or should we say lack there of. No more cars honking, sirens wailing, or kids playing in parks. It's been this way for two years now. The only sounds you hear now are the shuffling of feet, most of which are currently coming from the living inside the apartment block. You swear that you can make out the shuffling of the zombies on the first floor (or was it second?) as well, but that might just be the paranoia acting up. You've been held up in this apartment building with a group of other survivors for a little over a week now. You may not have spoken to any of the other survivors much but it seems that everyone's morale has been raised at least a little by the rest. Unfortunately it seems that, that rest may be coming to an end. The food is starting to run low, the medical supplies are all but gone, and there definitely isn't any gasoline left. On top of it all it looks like Mary is about to pop any minute and you don't have the supplies to handle it if something goes wrong. She stated that she wasn't supposed to be having the kid for another few weeks but it looks like she got her dates mixed up. Who's even keeping track of time anymore, anyway? Unfortunately her husband Leon was put down two days ago. He ventured out looking for supplies like a goddamn hero and got his arm ripped off by the zeds. Fortunately, it wasn't the arm carrying the radio he found. You were able to scrounge up enough batteries to get the thing going. It appears that some more survivors have gathered near the south side of town in a shopping mall. They've got enough supplies and communications to get people's attention. They've put out a bulletin over the radio offering aid to anyone who can make it to them. They also stated that they will be leaving town within the next few days, it appears they've found a way safely out of this shit hole. With the hospital to the north there is some mixed feelings about which direction the group should head next. There have also been whispers of a gun shop to the east and a train station to the west. In total there are 9 survivors holed up in this apartment building, including yourself. You've remembered the names of some and it looks like they're starting to gather in a common area. It appears the time to make a decision has come...you just wish it could've waited another day. Everyone roll 4d6 for supplies please. You can also start roleplaying. Feel free to describe your character and discuss your next course of action.Zombie Clock: 1

(Hugo Intro) This is pretty much what the Sergeant has been looking for his whole adult life. He was looking for it when his wife cheated on him with (a few) of the guys in the force. He was looking for it when his daughter dropped out of college and proclaimed herself to be a bisexual vegan and cosmic traveller. And he was definitely looking for it when an internal shuffle had him slated to be taken off the beat and stuck behind a desk until he was too old to hold a pen. All hail the end of the world.
Hugo shuffles into the room, he quietly leans up against a wall and listens in on the conversation of the group.

Could ten people clear out a fully infested Hospital? I also don't think we should be meeting up with a bunch of people at the mall, without scoping it out first. If anything, we should swing by the gun shop before we go anywhere.

Guns! why would we need guns? As long as we don't bother the undead they wont bother us its as simple as that guys. Lets just make it to this mall at get away from this place its obviously turning into these creatures natural habitat. tU4BrWh54d64d6

Thank you for rolling everyone. You currently have 2 days worth of supplies.
Amidst the commotion you hear a loud knock and scraping noises coming from the first floor of the apartment block. It appears that the zombies have finally caught wind of your makeshift stronghold. Thankfully being on the third story has it's advantages. And after a week long stay you've been able to barricade yourselves in nicely. You don't have to worry about any zombies getting in for awhile.
That being said, any direction the group decides to head in will be problematic. Having scoped the place out you've found there is only one egress point still accessible. The first floor lobby.
You can feel the tension rising as there is a lull in the conversation, everyone listening intently to the unliving below. Then some of the other survivors begin to speak up and voice there opinions, the noise from the zombies once again being covered up by those with blood still running in their veins.
"Why in the hell do we need guns?! We can just go meet up with the other survivors and get out of this hell hole!"
"I'm about to have this kid any minute! We need medical supplies anyway! We should go to the hospital!"
"There's no point in meeting the other survivors, they're probably all dead already. Which is what we'll be if we don't get some more firepower!"
"It's time we call a vote! Standing around and bickering is going to get us nowhere and we're running out of the precious time we have left."
The other survivors go silent, nodding in agreement with the last comment. A vote is to be called! The "helpless" survivors raise their hands and vote as follows:
Hospital: 2 Gun Shop: 1 Mall: 2
The other survivors then turn to you, waiting for you to cast your vote...or attempt to convince them otherwise of their decision.

Why on earth would we go to the gun shop or hospital we can't waste time! Lets just get some cars and gas together and go to the mall we can worry about the baby being born later it's not a big deal let the mall people worry about it.

If we fight our way to the hospital and all the bitches are dead, then we would be happy to have guns.

You guys are so horrible these unique creatures want nothing more than to survive like us, there should be a more peaceful way of getting through them to the mall. If we don't agitate them we wont need any guns! *frantically walk's back and forth in the room between everyone*
